Funeral Services for Robert “Bob” D. Weerts, age 73, of Winnebago, MN, will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at the old Winnebago High School. A private family burial will be held following the service at Rosehill Cemetery in Winnebago. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the old Winnebago High School. The family is asking for people to bring a written memory of Bob to share with the family to the visitation and service and if you are unable to attend to please share with the family as a special book will be made. Those wishing to view the service may do so on the livestream link found on the funeral home website. Bob passed away on Wednesday evening, October 15, 2025, at his home in Winnebago. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to UHD Home Health & Hospice, Genesis Classical Academy in Winnebago or to the family as they do a memorial in memory of Bob at a later date. A celebration of life visitation for Jesse Dean Lane, 47, of Mankato, MN will be held on Saturday November 1st, 2025 from 2:00 p.m to 5:00 p.m at the Granada City Hall, in Granada, MN. A brief family service will be held immediately following the visitation. Jesse passed away on October 11th, 2025 at 12:42 am from an at home fractal wood burning accident. Life saving measures were provided by Mankato Mayo Clinic EMT’s, Mankato Police Department and close friends on scene.
