The Tygart Center is located on the Fairmont Campus, in Fairmont, WV. We offer both ShortStay Rehab and LongTerm Care.

The Tygart Center is having a yard sale as a fundraiser for resident activities. We provide the space; you bring your table and any unwanted items! Table space is $10 and all proceeds will go to the resident fund. You keep the proceeds from your items! Come on out and sell, we would love to see you there! Residents and staff at the Tygart Center enjoyed a cheerful visit from the First Aid Fox, who brought smiles and popsicles for everyone!

The Tygart team rolled up their sleeves and worked together outside—blowing leaves, pulling weeds, and getting everything cleaned up to decorate for fall. We always want our residents to have a safe, clean, and cozy space to enjoy. Great teamwork from an amazing, caring crew!

Mary Kuretza was admitted to the hospital in March with stage 4 bone and breast cancer. She experienced complete muscle loss with doctors believing she would never walk again. Determined to recover, she entered the Tygart Center and, with the help of the physical therapy team, began walking with a walker within three months. On July 31, Mary not only walked out of the facility but returned to living independently. She praised the supportive, proactive care and tight-knit community of the center, nothing how staff and residents celebrated each other's progress. Mary also shared her faith by distributing Bibles and was seen as a blessing to the facility for her strength and positivity.
