Employee Spotlight: Noah Woods
For this week’s employee spotlight, we’re recognizing PT Noah Woods. Noah spent roughly 2 years at our Mannington clinic, but we are extremely excited to announce that Noah is now the clinical director at our Shinnston location. Shinnston is fortunate to be adding such a compassionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated therapist to the area! We sat down with Noah to ask him a few questions so you could get to better know him.
What excites you the most about the opportunity to run the Shinnston office?
- Having the opportunity to make a positive impact on the community in Shinnston. I hope to be a positive influence on those who come to the Shinnston office expecting good care.
What’s been your favorite aspect of the Shinnston community so far?
- I love the many charming and spirited individuals I’ve met thus far who demonstrate the kindness and warmth you hope to find when arriving as a new face in town.
What are your favorite type of patients to treat and why?
- This is a very hard question for me since I find a lot of enjoyment in many patient cases. Typically, I enjoy working with patients who experience shoulder or hip pain because these joints involve multiple planes of movement, so you can get quite creative with the exercises and interventions.
What is the best part about your job?
- The best part of my job is truly connecting with patients, listening to and hearing their stories, and helping them get back to living their lives by conquering their pain and improving their function.
If you could have one superpower, what would it be?
- If the Force from Star Wars counts as a superpower, I choose that!
Who is your favorite musical artist or band?
- Too many to count, but I have to go with the Avett Brothers and Needtobreathe
