These furry little “therapy specialists” take their job very seriously:

🕯🇺🇸 NEVER FORGET – 24 YEARS 🇺🇸🕯

On this day, 24 years ago…

✈️ 246 people went to sleep in preparation for their morning flights.
🏢 2,606 people went to sleep in preparation for work in the morning.
👨‍🚒 343 firefighters went to sleep in preparation for their morning shift.
👮‍♂️ 60 police officers went to sleep in preparation for morning patrol.
🚑 8 paramedics went to sleep in preparation for their morning shift.

None of them saw past 10:00 AM on September 11, 2001.
In a single moment, life was changed forever.

💙 Harbor Care Assisted Living, along with our residents and staff, wanted to take a moment to honor and remember all those we lost, as well as the heroes who ran toward danger that day.

🍩🎉 National Donut Day at Harbor Care! 🎉🍩

We take our holey days seriously around here… and today was a-glaze-ing! 😄

Our residents proved that age is just a number when it comes to chasing sprinkles and powdered sugar highs. From jelly-filled joy to old fashioned favorites, we’ve never seen a sweeter crowd.

🧓👵 Resident Phil says the secret to long life is “one donut a day… and pretending it’s a health food.”
🍩 Leslie tried to enforce moderation, but even she was caught mid-bite with a suspicious sprinkle mustache.

Whether you’re team glazed, frosted, or jelly-stuffed, we donut judge. ❤️

We’re looking for compassionate, dependable caregivers to join our small, family-style adult care home. If you love helping others and want to make a real difference, we want to hear from you!

🕒 Open Positions:
✨ 1st Shift (Full-Time) 7:30AM to 3:00PM
• Weekdays + every other weekend
• 35–40 hrs./week

🌙 2nd Shift (Part-Time) 3:00PM to 10:00PM
• Weekdays + every other weekend
• 20–25 hrs./week
• May pick up some 1st shifts

💼 What You’ll Do (The 3 C’s):
🧼 Cleaning – light housekeeping
🍳 Cooking – simple meal prep
❤️ Care – assist residents with daily needs (bathing, dressing, etc.)

✅ What We’re Looking For:
• Experience with elderly or mental health care preferred
• High school diploma or GED
• CNA/HHA a plus – but we’ll train the right person!
• Must be reliable (you’ll work solo on shift)
• Positive attitude + caring heart 💗
