THIS JUST IN: Aaron Manor Rehabilitation and Nursing Center has been named the #2 medium- sized nursing home in New York State in Newsweek’s America’s Best Nursing Homes 2026 ranking.
To help guide families in choosing high-quality care, Newsweek and global data intelligence firm Statista evaluated facilities nationwide across four key pillars: performance data, peer recommendations, accreditations, and resident satisfaction.
This year’s methodology placed additional emphasis on clinical quality metrics, underscoring the importance of measurable excellence in patient care and outcomes. Out of thousands of nursing homes nationwide, only 1,200 earned a spot on the 2026 list.
