Join Kim at our Fairview Park studio on Sunday, September 21st from 1–2:30pm for a special workshop exploring the ancient practice of mudras.

In yoga, mudras are symbolic hand gestures that channel your body’s energy and support mental, physical, and spiritual balance. Each gesture holds its own meaning and intention—helping to deepen meditation, calm the mind, and awaken inner awareness. 👌🏼

In this workshop Kim will lead you through education about the mudras, hand exercises, and finally a variety of different mudras to support your yoga practice and helping to evoke “core qualities” that reflect deeper meaning. This practice adds another layer to your understanding of the yogic traditions.

Hands-on assists in yoga are about so much more than alignment — they’re about connection, grounding, and support.

A gentle assist can:
✨ Encourage safer posture and mindful alignment
✨ Offer stability when you need an anchor
✨ Create more space to explore breath and openness
✨ Invite you to feel held and supported in your practice

At Hope Yoga, consent is always honored. To keep communication clear, we use clothespins as a simple tool:
📍 Clip it on your mat = No, thank you to hands-on assists
📍 No clip on your mat = Yes, please to hands-on assists

Every obstacle we face carries within it the seed of transformation. 🌱 Instead of resisting challenges, we can lean into them—trusting that they are guiding us toward deeper strength, resilience, and wisdom.
