Tips for breathwork sessions

🌀Eat at least 2 hours prior to class, favoring light foods.
🌀Drinks lots of water day of and after a class.
🌀Come as you are, no prior experience required.
🌀Wear clothing you are comfortable in.
🌀Trust your breath and surrender, allowing your body to take the lead.
🌀Plan to give yourself space after the session to integrate the experience. You may want to meditate, journal, or take a walk to process any emotions that came up.

Every session is different —not holding expectations and just flowing with it will help to have a deeper experience. This gets easier after your first session.

The more you can trust yourself and lean into the rhythm of your breath, the more you’ll be able to let go of control and the more powerful of a release you may have.

Meditation, journaling, taking a walk in nature, or speaking with a therapist are great ways to process any emotions that may have come up in the breathwork experience.

See you next class! 🌬️

I’m currently in a class on higher states of consciousness, I have an essay to write on the transition into cosmic consciousness the fifth out of the seven states.

This morning I kept thinking how am I going to write this essay when I don’t know that I have experienced it myself. I kept trying to think of a specific instance and was coming up blank.

I pulled out my gratitude journal that I write in every morning and noticed how I was just sitting there uncontrollably smiling. Feeling bliss, pure happiness, joy! I found myself thinking about how my inner state is being expressed outward and the ripple effect that creates in the world.

The best description I can give on cosmic consciousness is when pure bliss starts to coexist within our daily activity.

I’m not smiling at someone, I’m smiling from within — my inner coherence is naturally radiating outward which makes others around me smile. A ripple effect of smiles 😃

From the perspective of higher states of consciousness, this is a powerful reflection of my true inner stability. My space of contentment isn’t dependent on any one circumstance, it exists because I’m in a good place within — feeling happy with choices I’m making towards my future. My inner happiness is naturally coexisting within my daily activity.

Happiness doesn’t need a reason to exist, it just gradually becomes a quality of awareness itself. 😃 This is how higher states, specifically cosmic consciousness begin to show up in waking life.

This is my second time taking this class, the first time I withdrew due to the heaviness of grief in my life at the time. Back then, I remember overthinking everything and nothing clicking. This time around, I’m ready… a simple smile radiates in many ways.

Going to nail this essay & happy to say that breathwork is happening today with no chance of a weather cancellation! 🙌🏼🌬️✨

Sunday vibe: Bliss 😊✌🏼💓

January may mark the start of the calendar year — but nature’s true renewal comes in spring, however this season still offers a powerful moment to pause, soften, and begin with intention.

This January breathwork experience invites you to root into clarity and gently awaken your intentions for the year ahead, while still nurturing the wisdom of winter — warmth, stillness, and turning inward. No rushing, no forcing… just conscious breath, presence, and the space to listen.

Come cozy, come curious, come as you are. 🕊️

✨ There is no class the 1st Friday of the month for January— shifting to 01/04/26 2pm .sage.erie
✨ All levels welcome

In breathwork there is a sacred moment when the body knows it is safe to release. It will stop resisting and surrender. 🕊️ The nervous system melts out of survival mode. Arms and hearts open with a somatic YES to feeling, to presence, to returning home to yourself.

Watching someone drop into that place is witnessing pure trust. A trust in their breath, in themselves, in the experience. As a facilitator, I don’t create this moment — I hold the space for it to emerge. To surrender is deeply personal and to witness someone reach it through rhythmic breath is incredibly powerful. I answered a calling to do this work and I am forever grateful. 🫶🏻

thank you for your guidance. sage.erie thank you for opening your space.

The colder months are getting closer, inviting us to connect to the warmth of our own inner sanctuary — a space of deep compassion and emotional safety.

Through intentional breathing and somatic release, we’ll create space to turn inward and awaken your sense of warmth and wholeness.

This is a breakthrough session that will include a journaling prompt and sipping moon water.

As we shift into fall, the season of quick breezes, dryness, chilled air, rough textures, and less grounding in our natural environment…

Our minds and bodies may start to feel it too—brittle hair and nails, achy joints, slower digestion, irregular appetite, brain fog, bursts of creativity followed by depletion.

Every living thing is touched by seasonal rhythms. So remember to tend to your plants 🪴: water a little more, rotate them less (for stability + grounding), move them from drafty windows, give them extra sunlight, and whisper, “keep going, you’re doing great!”

Because the plants need what you need 😉🌱🍂

Growth doesn’t always come from big, dramatic shifts. Usually, it’s the small, simple changes that really add up to long-term consistency and happiness.

As we move into fall 🍁Vata season🍁 we enter a time of creativity, clarity, and refreshing energy. The air feels lighter, the days start shifting, and it naturally stirs a desire for newness and spontaneity. ✨ But when we’re out of balance during these seasonal shifts, that same energy can tip us into overwhelm—spiraling thoughts, lack of clarity, heightened anxiety, and restlessness. 😵‍💫

This is where Vedic wisdom becomes such a gift—it offers simple practices to keep us grounded, balanced, and in alignment with nature’s rhythms, so we can fully embrace the beauty and inspiration of the season.

Allow this season to inspire you. Even the tiniest shifts — a new routine, a grounding practice, or just slowing down with intention, ripples out in powerful ways.

Nothing changes without changes. 😉

🍂Here’s to welcoming fall with all the little changes and inspirations that will help us grow.

Many of us today have lost touch with our inner wisdom. Constant activity and focusing on everything outside ourselves can make us deaf to our own inner voice. This disconnection weakens our capacity for true health and happiness.

If you find yourself feeling dissatisfied in daily life—whether in relationships, work, routines, or endless to-do lists—I encourage you to gently rekindle that inner connection. 🕊️✨

When we practice breathwork, we awaken the wisdom within, creating space for clarity, joy, and wholeness to naturally return. 🌬️
