Your annual reminder that it’s not always just what you eat, but the amount you eat.

Want to have some ice cream with the family? Go ahead! But maybe choose the smaller size or get a small cone. Especially if you’re trying to reach a health goal.

It can be the difference between an enjoyable guilt-free treat with the kiddos or a sugary crash of regret with enough calories for several meals! 😬

Fueling your body with the right nutrients is the only way to reach your goals.

How does the food you eat make you feel?
Strong and energized ⬆️ or weak and tired? ⬇️

Stick mostly to whole, minimally processed foods.
And really note how your body feels after meals. It will slowly start to guide you to better choices.

Each workout is a building block toward your goals. Thinking short-term will only lead to frustration, injuries, and probably quitting.

Proper training is progressive and challenging, but doesn’t require you to be exhausted after every workout.

Get stronger and don’t worry about how many calories you burn in one specific workout.

This works better in the long run mentally and physically.

Food comas are real! If you don’t feel a meal is complete until your stomach feels like it will burst, I challenge you to change your thinking.

Not only will this reduce the amount of calories you consume resulting in lower body fat, it will help keep you mentally alert and productive.

And if you still crave that feeling of fullness, drink a big glass of water after the meal.
