Prevention Educator Breanne Reagle and Outreach Specialist Autumn Gross had a great time at the Game of REAL Life event hosted by GA Family Services today!

It was great connecting with youth, sharing resources on healthy decision-making, and highlighting opportunities to get involved with our Youth Action Committee through the HOPE Chautauqua Coalition.

We're always grateful when we can engage, educate, and support our community 💜

Today is the last day of Gambling Awareness Month, but the conversation doesn’t end here.
As March wraps up, it’s a great reminder that gambling harms can affect anyone, and support is always available. Whether you’re checking in on yourself or someone you care about, taking that first step toward awareness can make all the difference.
✔️ Know the signs
✔️ Set healthy boundaries
✔️ Reach out for help when needed
If you or someone you love is struggling, confidential support is available year‑round through the National Problem Gambling Helpline: 1‑800‑GAMBLER or via chat/text.
Let’s keep breaking the stigma, lifting each other up, and promoting safer choices not just in March, but every day.

📢Today's Virtual Parent Support Group Session is Postponed!

Due to unforeseen circumstances, our virtual parenting session scheduled for tonight from 5:00–7:00 PM has been postponed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.

Our sessions will resume on Tuesday, April 7th, from 5:00–7:00 PM. We look forward to connecting with everyone then!

Thank you for your continued support.

March is a time to shine a light on an issue that often goes unseen. Problem gambling can affect anyone's friends, family members, coworkers, and neighbors right here in Chautauqua County.

Unlike other addictions, there are no physical warning signs. The impact is often hidden behind financial stress, relationship challenges, anxiety, or depression. That’s why awareness matters.

Gambling should be entertainment, not a source of harm. If it’s no longer feeling fun, or if it’s causing strain in your life or someone else’s, it may be time to reach out.

Help in New York State is free, confidential, and available 24/7:
📞 Call or text 1-877-8-HOPENY (1-877-846-7369)
🌐 Visit NYProblemGambling.org

Together, we can reduce stigma, encourage conversations, and support healthier choices in our community. You are not alone, and help is always available.
