This month marks Leslie’s one-year anniversary with Compassionate Counseling Company, and we are so grateful to have her as part of our team. Leslie is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) who brings compassion, insight, and dedication to every client she works with. She specializes in supporting adults navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, ADHD, and life transitions, using approaches including CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and EMDR. Jocelyn, Emily, Alison, Heather, and Stephanie from Compassionate Counseling Company had the opportunity to attend the annual Bowl-A-Thon hosted by Child & Family Services, supporting their Caring Network program. This incredible program provides support for children and families who have been impacted by violence-offering resources, advocacy, and hope during some of the most difficult moments.

Events like this remind us how powerful community collaboration can be. Thank you to Child & Family Services for the important work you do every day to support children and families across Massachusetts.

Week 3 of Somatic Saturdays with Emily Gauthier, LCSW ✨

This week’s theme was self-trust and self-acceptance-two powerful foundations for healing and growth.

Using the song “Lady Lady” as inspiration, the group reflected on difficult moments in their lives and the inner strength that helped them move through those experiences. Together, they explored how resilience often shows up quietly-through perseverance, self-compassion, and the courage to keep going.

When we take time to reflect on the challenges we’ve navigated, we begin to see the strength that has always been there.

Building self-trust means recognizing that even in hard moments, we have the capacity to endure, adapt, and move forward.

Sometimes the most powerful healing comes from remembering: you’ve gotten through hard things before.
