Happy Nursing Home Administrator Week to Jim at Kimwell! 🎉

We are so lucky to have an administrator as caring and dedicated as Jim. He has brought so much heart and soul into making positive changes throughout the building, from giving Kimwell a much-needed facelift to truly listening to and addressing the concerns of employees, residents, and families.

Jim works tirelessly to uphold Kimwell’s reputation for providing a warm, homelike environment where everyone feels valued and cared for. His commitment and leadership make a difference every single day.

Today at Kimwell, we had a special tradition. Each year our scheduler, Angie brings in a Portuguese treat that her aunts make to remember her parents who have passed away (Lucy and Joe). Today the staff enjoyed Portuguese sweet rice with cinnamon and tea with honey. The staff truly enjoyed this treat, since many of them were born in Portugal or have family there.

Thank you very much to Angie and her aunts for a tasty treat and a beautiful way to remember her parents.

🐴 Kimwell’s residents and staff enjoyed a delicious country breakfast with all of the fixin’s, prepared by our Food Service Director (Melissa) and the dietary staff. 🐴

🐴🎵The Activities department played some country music and residents enjoyed dancing. Several staff members helped to pass out the plates and everyone had a great time. 🐴🎵

Kimwell celebrated the Olympics by taking hockey penalty shots.

Kimwell showed their New England Patriots spirit by wearing their Patriots attire and the staff all enjoyed a hot dog luncheon. Staff members could play a football game and win a prize. It was a fun day!!!

Kimwell celebrated our Activities employees during Activity Professional week. They had a nice luncheon to honor them. They all do a great job at Kimwell and we appreciate all that they do for the residents and staff.

Kimwell had a pizza luncheon for the Diman Regional Technical Institute School of Practical Nursing students who came to Kimwell for their clinical rotation. They all enjoyed their backpacks and the luncheon. The students and instructor complimented on having a very nice experience during their clinical rotation here at Kimwell.
