Our hearts are broken over the devastating shooting that occurred today in Providence, Rhode Island, where multiple members of the community were shot and at least two lives were lost, with several others critically injured. 
At this incredibly painful time, our deepest condolences to the families and friends of the victims. We mourn with you and share in your grief over lives taken far too soon.
Our thoughts and prayers are with each person affected the victims, the injured, their loved ones and the entire Providence community. We pray for strength, comfort, and peace for all who are hurting.
We also honor and thank the first responders, medical personnel, and law enforcement working tirelessly in response to this tragedy. Their service and bravery are deeply appreciated.
During moments of tragedy like this, communities must come together. May we find compassion, support, and unity as we stand with those who are suffering.
