Mayor Paul E. Coogan announces a cooling center at Fall River Government Center due to the extreme heat expected in the area. The cooling center will be open from 9:30am through 3:30pm, Tuesday, July 29th and Wednesday, July 30th, 2025.

The cooling center will be in the lobby of Government Center and can be accessed
through the Third Street entrance.

Due to high temperatures, we want to remind citizens of Fall River to check on family,
friends, and neighbors. Drink plenty of water, stay inside in a cool area, and do not exert
yourself if you have health conditions. Stay cool and safe.

SASS Recovery stands with the Gabriel House fire victims and the heroic first responders. Collaborating with Griffols to make sure supplies were gathered to support the victims as they begin the process of rebuilding. We thank you for your quick response in our communities time of need. We thank every single individual who showed up in one way or another! We thank the first responders for all of their efforts!
