THIS IS THE HILL WE WANT TO DIE ON
This post is long but it’s important and I lay out a simple solution at the end.
And this includes Digital ID too… Real ID is just the prelude to the digital ID.
I know Apple is rolling out its new “super convenient” digital ID, but I am going to get into that in another post… and the short version now is,
❌ A hard NO ❌
And that’s the solution: just don’t do it
Period.
Friends, THIS is THE ISSUE OF OUR TIME
And they’re not telling you about it in the “news”
So in case you missed it, (and they want you to MISS it) here’s what’s been happening around the world:
-Vietnam just closed 86M accounts due to a lack of biometrics from the account holders.
-Thailand is now moving into QR codes for its markets.
-The EU is requiring biometrics for all of its visitors as of October
-The UK is mandating a digital ID starting August 2029. (Massive protests happening there.)
-China has a FULL social credit system based on digital ID and a FULL Surveillance state (which is where this is all headed, btw)
-The US is trying to mandate the Real ID to fly domestically, and some states do not let you opt out.
But most states DO LET YOU OPT OUT, and keep a standard driver’s license 🪪
You do NOT need a real ID to travel by air domestically in the U.S.
They just make it sound like you do, so you opt in… (like I did, but I have since opted out).
And YOU CAN TOO
I have successfully traveled 4x WITHOUT a real ID since June.
Other accepted forms of ID at the airport are:
🟢 Passport
🟢 Passport Card
🟢 Global Entry Card
🟢 And several others (just check TSA website)
I used the first 3 👆in my recent travel, and opted out of the facial recognition.
ALL VOLUNTARY (which they “say” is “required”)
I also turned in my Real ID for a standard drivers license 🪪 And in most states You can too.
Or you can get a non-resident driver’s license in a Freedom loving state like S. Dakota.
Yes, it is worth the trouble. We are WAY past the time we keep selling our Souls for “convenience”
The jig is up!
This is URGENT ‼️
And there is still time in the U.S.
And the U.S. matters. ( IYKYK)
