Our residents had a fantastic time dining out at Backdraft Bar and Grill in Bonsall. The food was delicious, the summer weather was perfect, and the company made it all the more special. Between bites of fresh seafood, pizza and burgers, the table was full of laughter, thanks to a steady stream of jokes and good natured storytelling from our residents. It was a beautiful afternoon spent with great friends!

Silvergate Fallbrook hosted a charming High Noon Tea Party this week for our guests. From decorating floral hats to enjoying tea sandwiches, pastries, and berry mimosas at beautifully set tables, it was an afternoon full of floral creativity, laughter, and great company.

Our residents enjoyed a beautiful Candlelight Dinner last night here at Silvergate Fallbrook. Chef Phil prepared an incredible meal, complete with a carving station featuring rosemary beef tenderloin and herb roasted turkey breast.

The evening started with a fresh pear and gorgonzola cheese salad, followed by a delicious spread of mashed yams, fingerling potatoes, and a colorful vegetable medley. And of course, plenty of assorted desserts to finish things off.

Adding to the ambiance, Phil Leonelli provided live piano and vocals throughout the evening, creating the perfect soundtrack for a warm and elegant night.

It was a wonderful night filled with great food, candlelight, and nicely dressed residents. Nights like these are just one of the many reasons Silvergate feels like home.

We spent a beautiful day at Balboa Park with our residents, starting with lunch at The Prado. The historic setting, complete with Spanish colonial architecture and lush surroundings, made the perfect backdrop for a delicious meal. Everyone enjoyed the flavorful dishes and warm service.

After lunch, we strolled through the Botanical Building and Gardens, taking in the vibrant colors and fresh scents from the wide variety of plant species on display. From orchids to ferns, every corner was full of beauty and serenity. It was a wonderful outing, surrounded by the peaceful charm of San Diego’s most iconic park.

We had a fantastic Fourth of July at Silvergate Fallbrook, celebrating 249 years of American independence. Residents, families, and friends came together to enjoy live patriotic music by Phil Leonelli while Chef Phil fired up the grill with burgers, hot dogs, ribs, and all the fixings! It wouldn’t be the Fourth without watermelon and ice cream to help everyone cool off-what a great way to wrap up the celebration!

Today’s outing took the residents to Village Roots restaurant, where they enjoyed a delicious lunch made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The bright, welcoming atmosphere and attentive service made for a wonderful dining experience. They also offered kombucha on tap, which added a unique touch to the meal. Our residents truly appreciate and enjoy visiting local spots that offer wholesome food and a warm sense of community.

There’s nothing quite like summertime at Silvergate Fallbrook. The sun is out, the calendar is full, and there’s always something to look forward to. From live music in the courtyard to chef-prepared BBQs and refreshing drinks on the patio, the season brings a special kind of energy. We’re also out and about whether it’s coastal lunches, museum visits, or scenic drives, our residents love exploring all that summer in Southern California has to offer. At Silvergate, summer isn’t just a season—it’s a celebration.

There’s nothing like a day by the bay! Our residents went down to San Diego for a delicious lunch at Carnitas’ Snack Shack, where the tacos were just as good as the view. After lunch, we boarded the USS Midway’s neighbor, the famous Flagship, for an hour long narrated harbor tour. With sea breezes, skyline views, history seen along the harbor, drinks in hand, and great conversations with friends, it was the perfect blend of fun and relaxation.

We had a wonderful outing with the residents as we explored Motte’s Car Museum in Menifee. The museum’s vintage charm and classic car displays sparked great memories and conversation. Afterward, we enjoyed a hearty and delicious lunch at Black Bear Diner in Murrieta. A day filled with nostalgia, great company, and good food!

Our Silvergate Sock Hop was a smashing success! Our courtyard was packed with residents, guests, and staff, many dressed to the nines in classic 1950s style. The band 3 Car Garage had everyone twisting and dancing with their fantastic set of rock ‘n’ roll hits that brought the energy all the way beyond the courtyard.

Chef Phil kept things authentic with a 50s diner-inspired lunch, serving up burger sliders, hot dogs with all the fixings, and a crowd favorite banana split bar. Our open bar featured nostalgic favorites like Tom Collins, Ocean Breeze, and ice cold beer.

A highlight of the afternoon was a jaw dropping performance by a professional roller-skating duo, Angel and Gabriel, who wowed the crowd with their high energy routine. It was a day full of music, laughter, and great memories, a true blast from the past!
