🤳Patient Exercise Spotlight✨
This exercise is a Standing Thoracic Downward Rotation in Romberg which is a progression designed to challenge🧐 multiple bodily systems simultaneously, improving:

✅Lumbothoracic mobility (movement in the lower back and mid-back)
✅ Core stabilization (engaging deep abdominal and back muscles for support)
✅ Balance (stability and control of the body's position)
✅ Vestibular function (reducing dizziness by challenging the inner ear's balance system)

As you advance in physical therapy, exercises may move from isolated movements to more complex ones that integrate multiple systems, like this one. 💙Thank you for your dedication to physical therapy! Congratulations🏆🥇 on all your achievements!

🤳 Patient Success Story! ✨
🔷 This patient presented to Respire Physical Therapy with knee pain🦵 💥 and stiffness following a skiing accident 🎿. The evaluation 📝 revealed decreased knee flexion and extension range of motion along with reduced quadriceps and hamstring strength contributing to knee pain.

🔷 In this video 📹, the patient is performing a single leg press to safely⚠️ rebuild quad strength 💪 after restoring knee mobility. This exercise helps strengthen the quadriceps, improve knee stability, and increase push off tolerance for a safe return to skiing ⛷️. 🥳🎉We are excited to share that this patient no longer has knee pain and is able to make his end-of-season ski trip🏔️✈️ to Utah and Tahoe! 🏆🥇Congratulations on your success and thank you for your dedication to physical therapy!

💬Leg length🦵 discrepancy is something we hear about all the time🧐❓in physical therapy but not every “uneven leg” is actually a structural problem. In fact, most people who feel off-balance, tilted, or uneven are dealing with muscle tightness💥 or alignment issues rather than a true difference in bone 🦴length.

💬Physical therapy can help improve adductor strength and function by identifying🔍 muscle weaknesses, movement imbalances, and poor mechanics⚙️ that may contribute to groin strain💥. A physical therapist creates a targeted exercise program📝 that includes strengthening, mobility, and stability work to safely build💪 inner thigh strength.

https://respirept.com/physical-therapy-for-adductor-strength-and-injury-prevention/

Adductor training is essential for athletes because the adductor muscles—located on the inner thigh—play a key role in stabilizing the hips, controlling leg movement, and generating power during many athletic actions. Strong adductors help athletes perform movements such as cutting, sprinting, c...

💬You rolled your ankle 🦶💥months ago. The swelling went down. You got back to work💼, back to the gym👟, back to the field🥅⚽️. And then it happened again.
If your ankle keeps “giving out,” feeling wobbly😣, or spraining over and over, you may be dealing with chronic ankle instability (CAI) — a common condition🧐💡 that develops after an initial ankle sprain.
