Here’s what to do AFTER your wax appointment…
POST-WAX INSTRUCTIONS (to soothe and protect your skin):
1. No touching or scratching – Keep hands off the waxed area to prevent irritation or infection.
2. Avoid heat & sweat for 24 hours – No hot showers, saunas, workouts, or tanning immediately after waxing.
3. Avoid tight clothing – Wear breathable, loose-fitting clothing to reduce friction.
4. No exfoliation for 48 hours – After two days, gently exfoliate every 2–3 days to prevent ingrown hairs.
5. Moisturize regularly – Use a fragrance-free lotion to keep skin hydrated.
6. Skip scented products – Avoid using perfumes, deodorants, or scented lotions on the waxed area for 24 hours.
7. Expect slight redness – This is normal and should subside within a few hours. Apply a cold compress or post-wax soothing gel if needed.

Here’s what you should do prior to your wax appointment….
PRE-WAX INSTRUCTIONS (for best results):
1. Let your hair grow – Hair should be at least ¼ inch long (about the length of a grain of rice).
2. Exfoliate 24 hours before – Gently exfoliate the area to remove dead skin and reduce the chance of ingrown hairs.
3. Avoid lotions or oils – Do not apply creams, oils, or lotions on the day of your appointment.
4. Avoid tanning – No tanning (natural or artificial) 24–48 hours before waxing.
5. Skip alcohol & caffeine – These can increase skin sensitivity; avoid a few hours before your session.
6. Stay hydrated – Drink plenty of water before your appointment to help skin stay supple.
7. Dress comfortably – Wear loose-fitting clothing to your appointment to avoid irritation afterward.
