Dr. Litovitz gave tips to manage stress and common mental health issues and discussed symptoms of more serious mental and behavioral health conditions as well as programs and treatments offered at Dominion and our greater HCA Virginia Health System network.

As part of HCA Virginia Health System, Dominion Hospital strives to empower young people to identify mental health challenges and learn techniques to help them cope through difficult circumstances.

Recently, colleagues from Dominion Hospital and other HCA Virginia facilities organized a mental wellness event at Unity Reed High School in Manassas. The event's theme was Exploring Expressive Therapy, and it provided students with the opportunity to explore different forms of expressive therapy through journaling, emotional intelligence, movement and pet therapy.
