WING: Washington Interdisciplinary Neurodiversity Group will be hosting the next round of Book Club for Parents and Caregivers, starting on September 10! The club will meet on Tuesdays from 12-1 PM for 10 consecutive weeks.

The group will be reading "The Educator's Experience of PDA" by Laura Kerbey. (Past books include "Low Demand Parenting" and "Can't Not Won't"). This book provides an introduction to PDA nervous systems and PDA-tailored advice on connecting with students and creating autonomous, spontaneous environments for learning. The suggestions and strategies are supportive not only for educators but also for parents, caregivers and advocates. Participants can also expect a space to share their own perspectives and experiences and get support for neurodiversity-affirming parenting.

Like all of WING's events, this book club is pay-what-you-can-afford!
