🏃 New research raises questions about colon cancer risk in long-distance runners. An Inova Schar Cancer Institute study, featured in The New York Times, suggests some athletes may benefit from early screening.

👥 Participants: 100 runners (ages 35–50, no prior colonoscopy)
📊 Finding: 15% had pre-cancerous lesions—much higher than expected for this age group.
