Meet Lucy, one of our compassionate nurses here at Avalon In-Home Nursing. Her journey started in Lima, Peru with a degree in Psychology and a dream to continue in that field here in the U.S.
But life had other plans—and Lucy met them head-on.
To support herself, she began working as a PCA. Her patients saw something special in her—kindness, care, and commitment. When a friend encouraged her to become a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), she said, “Why not?” Lucy is a doer. She saw a path forward and took it.
Today, Lucy is a proud Registered Nurse, and just recently added Wound Care Certification (WCC) to her name. 🙌
Lucy’s story is one of grit, growth, and giving back. We are so lucky to have her on our team.
