Strive for a happy heart this February!
February has us seeing hearts. 😍 I've decided to take it quite literally -- get my labs done, up my Omega 3's (https://us.fullscript.com/welcome/luminousandgrounded/store-start) , and treat myself to this tasty and super easy chia seed pudding (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1pq9-pGnVzxao4QsnDQoP75ohm1y93QU0/view?usp=sharing) for breakfast every morning (hello, ALAs!). In case you've never made it, the hardest thing about chia pudding is remembering to shake the jar before it all clumps together! Otherwise it's as easy as mixing in a blender and then pouring it into a mason jar.
What is genuinely hard is getting enough EPA and DHA from diet alone. ALA is not the best converter. The Omega-3 metric would challenge even a fisherman. So if you do one thing to acknowledge this heart-focused month, can I suggest adding a nice Omega-3 blend (https://us.fullscript.com/welcome/luminousandgrounded) of EPA and DHA? If you're allergic to fish or have a histamine issue, you can do algae oil!
