Baking is more than just a treat 🍪
It builds fine motor skills (stirring, scooping), coordination, sequencing, attention, and even sensory tolerance—all while encouraging social interaction when we work together 🌎💚
We loved celebrating Earth Day with a shared session!

“Why does writing feel so hard for my child?”
Sometimes, it starts with the basics—hand strength, coordination, and motor planning.

In OT, we build these skills through fun, engaging activities like this 🌳☀️
No worksheets required.

This heat has us dreaming about aquatic therapy 💦☀️
But it’s more than just fun in the water—it’s a powerful way to build strength, confidence, and movement skills in a supportive environment.

Aquatic therapy can be especially helpful for kids who need a little extra support with mobility, coordination, or sensory regulation.

And bonus… they usually don’t even realize how hard they’re working 😉.

Looks like play… 👀But we’re working on balance, strength, coordination, and regulation all at once 💪✨

Food exploration done right 👏

Two sessions, two disciplines—both using a sensory-based approach and food chaining to support our “problem feeders” 🍟🥕

Here’s what that looks like:
✔️ Hands-on exploration
✔️ Building comfort before expectation
✔️ Play-based exposure to new foods
✔️ Supporting regulation + confidence at the table

And most importantly—families are part of the process every step of the way 💛

Feeding isn’t just about eating—it’s about feeling safe, curious, and in control.

Regulation doesn’t just happen during therapy —
it happens all throughout a child’s day.

For many kids, movement is how their body stays organized and ready to learn.

If your child is constantly on the go, it may be their way of trying to regulate.

In occupational therapy, we don’t just work on skills in the clinic —
we help build strategies into everyday routines like mornings, transitions, mealtimes, and bedtime.

Because when kids feel regulated in their daily life, everything else becomes easier 💙

We currently have openings for evaluations as soon as next week.

One of our favorite therapy tools… tongs 👏

They may look simple, but they build:
✔️ Hand strength
✔️ Fine motor control
✔️ Coordination
✔️ Focus + regulation

And the best part? You can easily try this at home.

Grab some kitchen tongs or tweezers and have your child move cotton balls, small toys, or snacks from one container to another.

Simple, playful, and so effective 💛

Save this for an easy activity to try later!

It’s National Creative Arts Therapies Week 🎨

Art therapy is more than making something “pretty.”
It helps children express emotions, build self-awareness, and develop regulation skills in a safe, supportive space.

Through creative expression, kids can communicate in ways that feel natural to them — especially when words are hard.

We love incorporating art as a powerful tool for connection and growth 💙

Speech therapy doesn’t always happen sitting at a table.

For some children, movement helps their bodies regulate so they can focus and access speech and language skills.

In this session, we paired articulation practice with movement in the swing — supporting both sensory regulation and communication.

When kids’ bodies are regulated, learning happens more easily 💙
