The ParentCircle is a group based approach to the self developmental process of the parent. Parent education, support and personal growth are the key components of this model. In this unique approach the therapist is not central and the focus is on the parent rather than the child. The program is designed to eventually become self-sustaining so that parents can continue their work, as a group, through the child-rearing phase of life, at no cost. There are manuals: simple, practical, informative. There is a master carpenter who offers tools and skills for safe and productive work. And...there are no set floor plans.

David Flohr, Ph.D. along with Jessica Valner, Ph.D. continue to develop this model and encourage you, parents, educators and therapists to become part of this process as it unfolds.
