Wellness, in its entirety, is an active process of not only becoming aware of, but rather making active choices towards obtaining a healthy and fulfilling life. This dynamic process is dependent upon the individual’s willingness to change and grow in the areas of complete physical, mental and social well-being.
Our platform rooted in wellness is what we at the International Skin and Wellness Center strive to maintain and provide to all our members. We embrace our community with the following Seven Dimensions of Wellness – Social, Physical, Emotional, Occupational, Intellectual, Environmental and Spiritual. Coupled with this focus on wellness, we offer our members access to the Seven Principle yoga practices – Bhakti, Hatha, Jnana, Karma, Kundalini, Raja YOGA. These seven yoga practices build on the basic practice of Sadhana, or the individual’s plight for self-knowledge and the culmination of self-realization. This theme of a never-ending journey of self-discovery will provide a myriad of benefits – with the improvement of the body, mind and spirit. As individuals we will achieve an enhancement in flexibility, focus, stamina and overall body health. This overall wellness, and feeling of connectedness, will allow one to feel more connected to themselves and to the universe in its entirety.
As our premiere focus is that of the individual in all its entirety, we also provide a culmination of services in addition to yoga including meditation, holistic services, advanced skin care and body treatments as well as our relaxing Salt Room Halo Therapy. The International Skin and Wellness Center focuses on addressing the specific needs of every member through customization of our services and instilling each member relationship and interaction with the core values of authenticity, integrity and professionalism. Centrally located in the DC metro area, within the surrounding areas of the City of Falls church, Tysons Corner, McLean, Arlington and Washington DC, our facility is in a picturesque and convenient locality to accommodate any commute. The entire staff of the International Skin and Wellness Center pride ourselves in educating and empowering you with the necessary tools to obtain lifelong health and wellness.
