✨ Part II of our Women’s Cancer Prevention & Screening workshop series was a beautiful success! ✨

Over 30 Afghan refugee women joined us to review key topics like mammograms, self-breast exams, and cancer treatment options. We were so inspired to hear that every woman in attendance had performed a self-breast exam since the last session — and shared the knowledge with loved ones 💗

We’re incredibly grateful to our amazing partners at ECDC and AMPAA for helping bring this educational series to life. Each session saw more attendees, more questions, and more community impact. ✨Our first Women’s Cancer Prevention & Screening Workshop was a huge success!✨

Thank you to .us , NSC, , and for your incredible collaboration and support. We welcomed 25+ amazing women, many of whom shared personal stories and left empowered with knowledge about cancer prevention, pap smears, and mammograms 💗
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
A huge shoutout to Dr. Zarmina and Dr. Nazaneen for their powerful, compassionate presentations—and to the INOVA Community Health Workers for their culturally sensitive education, FIT test sign-ups, and breast model demos.
