Join us this Wednesday, February 19th to network and hear Ruth Pegeron speak about an issue we all have in common-death.

Ruth's professional and personal experiences with care giving and death propelled her to become a death expert and start Lay to Rest Services, LLC. The mission is to encourage more planning and conversation around death. She strives to engage clients in healthy dialogue around the end of life journey. Ruth provides consumer products and services related to navigating through the unfamiliar process associated with the planning of a ceremony that honors her client's wishes. The planning is inclusive of understanding the cremation and full body burial options and processes, obituary writing, ritual specific order of services, creative memorial services, cemetery memorialization options, cremation products, as well as the traditional funeral.

He is a former decorated U.S. Navy physician and was interviewed to be the physician to President Reagan. Lisa Rabinowitz has worked at the Virginian Outpatient Therapy and Home Health departments for over 20 years. Lisa received her B.S. in Physical Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master's degree in Health Administration. Her experience ranges from acute care to home health. Over the past 30 years, Lisa has focused her continuing education and practice with geriatric patients. Lisa is a LSVT BIG clinician and has extensive training to treat patients with Parkinson's disease and other neurologic conditions.

During Tara Conner's academic career, she was exposed to wide variety of clinical settings that included mental health, acute, outpatient and early intervention therapy. After obtaining her Master's degree in Occupational Therapy at Scranton University, Tara accepted a position at The Virginian working in the Outpatient Therapy Clinic where she has treated patients for the past 7 years and has had the opportunity to continue her passion for working with the geriatric population. Tara is a certified LSVT Big provider to treat individuals living with Parkinson's disease to help individuals maintain an active and independent lifestyle.
