The Easter Rabbit showed up early here at Jonesbrook! We had our resident/staff friends and family hunt last weekend. Chilly weather, wind, but lots of sunshine. The little ones don't care what the weather is as long as there are plenty of eggs! The afternoon was enjoyed by all. Here are some photos of our fun time.

No fooling, April is here! This is how our month is stacking up. Also we celebrated our March birthdays on the 31st. Happy Birthday again Colleen, Marlene, Paul and Brenda! Sorry you couldn't make it Brenda, we missed you!

Another beautiful weather day gave us the chance for a lunch outing. Residents chose Swinging Doors Saloon in Rulo for their meal stop. Jan, Shannon and Cassie gave the best service and a yummy meal, thanks ladies! Everyone enjoyed talking about the bits of history on the restaurant walls too!

We have some residents who wanted to make a casino trip! We took advantage of the weather last week and loaded up for a fun trip. We took a drive down by the river and visited White Cloud Casino. Some wanted to gamble a little, others enjoyed people watching. A fun morning!

Recently we were honored to have local artist Tootie Ebel come in and do a painting demonstration for our residents. She came in with a blank canvas, asked residents what they wanted her to paint then completed it in front of them in an hour ½ using no photos or anything for reference. We were in awe of her talent and vision! She also brought in a small painting she had done to present to one lucky resident in a drawing. Ruth Rannebeck was our winner.
