One way to stim is through feeling textures in your mouth. Sometimes we really need something crunchy or crispy, burnt, mushy or liquified and that’s OK! Letting your desire for a certain food textures though doesn’t mean you have to make less healthy choices. Instead of chips try popcorn or snap peas for that crunch. Instead of ice cream try Greek yogurt for that creamy smooth fix. What’s your favorite way to make your textures healthy?
