Breath is the source of life, take a few minutes throughout your day to slow down your breathing. When you do this intentionally it triggers your relaxation response and helps to neutralize stressors. This also has a cumulative effect on your health.
Another way I can describe this to you is imagine that your body is a bank account and every time you slow down your breathing your depositing positive currency in to your body. Long term this helps you to feel calmer even in stressful situations, it helps all your body systems work better and protects your health mentally, emotionally and physically.
