It is not easy to lose a tree that has watched us grow. Chris waited to wield the chainsaw until my Aligned Month session was complete. I ran out and told the trees what to expect and blessed the dead tree away. It was a peaceful transition even if it didn’t fall where we wanted it to. 😬

Morning practice. Coffee brewing. Warm water. Meditation. Journal.

The worn edge on the table is from my grandfather’s forearms. This table was in my grandparents breakfast room. Grandma would be to his right and my brother and I would bounce around the room with my parents likely filling the other chairs. Toast and grapefruit. And coffee. Simple. A small part of the soul of our family, the soul of our home.

My goal is to amp up my creativity. I keep pushing this aside because “I don’t have time.” I will be clearing my connection to time and resetting my clock so that I can create space to bring in creativity. I do t know what that will look like. However, I know I will discover it on Saturday during The Aligned Month.

I will spare you a picture of me with my face mask on. I am curled up in the lounge today to refine my website, food prep for the week and finish up my virtual Reiki & Meditation event, The Aligned Month, happening Saturday. All perfect for a crisp, rainy Sunday.
