Hello Friends,
Falmouth Hot Room was a unique place; a sanctuary for so many. A true testament to the physical and mental benefits of this style of Hot Yoga and Inferno Hot Pilates. I was always so impressed by the range of our students. Not the physical range, but the differences in age and personality. People from all walks of life came together to form an incredible community of souls.
All were welcome, whether you lived here year round, summertime or only visited for the weekend, it was always such a gift to be surrounded by so many amazing people. I truly miss your camaraderie, friendship, connection and support. I am so grateful for my seven+ years at the studio, and offer my greatest thanks to you all for being part of this wonderful adventure.
I want you all to know I think of you often. If we ever had a conversation at the studio, you probably pop into my mind at some point or other. I have seen many of you around lately and am always asked if I will be reopening. At this point, I am sorry to say, I will not be reopening the Falmouth Hot Room.
Like many, the global pandemic certainly gave me time to take stock to see where I am needed most. My family. Guiding these four diverse personalities through preschool, elementary, middle and high school (simultaneously) is the current challenge I am working through right now. My heart, mind and time are so full managing this situation that I cannot commit to successfully running a full time business in addition.
When I think about our Hot Room, it saddens me to imagine it cold and dark, when it used to hold so much love and light. I am hopeful that this communication sparks a connection and/or interest that someone or a group of people will come together to restore our great community.
I am here to offer assistance, whether it is teaching, consulting, answering questions, trying to connect interested parties… I will do whatever is in my power to help someone bring this practice back to the Falmouth/Bourne/Mashpee area.
I hope you are well and find peace knowing that we are almost to the end of this tumultuous time of life.
My Best Regards,
Kate Ridl
