For many American families, today is a painful reminder of the ultimate sacrifice paid by their loved ones. This Memorial Day, join DAV in reflecting on the commitment, courage and sacrifices of those service members who gave their lives for this country and for all of us. Without them, we would not have any of the freedoms that we have come to know and love in the U.S.

This week, hundreds of disabled veterans, volunteers, instructors, sponsors, and adaptive sports enthusiasts will take part in rehabilitative activities throughout Snowmass, Colorado. On Saturday, Coal Country Coffee will be donating an additional $2 a bag directly to the DAV program (Disabled American Vets). Gideon’s collaborated with Coal Country Coffee to create 2 new brews, The Coffee & Cream Stout and the Hazelnut & Vanilla Coffee Stout. During the month of March, Gideon’s is donating $1 for every pint sold in support of DAV. On Saturday we will be donating an additional $2 a pint. Join us Saturday to raise a pint, a cup, and/or a donut to cheers those who support our freedom.

March 28th I stopped by to see a veteran I know Chummy Gustafson who has Agent Orange. He said 8 months ago he was told he had 6 months to live. After I got done singing he paid me a huge compliment by asking me if I would sing it at his funeral. I sang my song "Say Goodbye" at the State Capital in Bismark, ND the next day March 29th for Vietnam Veterans Day. https://www.facebook.com/shawn.gustafson.9/videos/10218018880042119/?t=42
