Winter can feel like a tough time for staying active. But National Healthy Weight Week January 18-24 is a time to recommit to healthy habits. Start small, set attainable goals, and do activities you enjoy. Just getting your body moving is a great place to start!

Other factors include eating a balanced diet that includes whole foods, cutting back on alcohol and to***co, and getting quality sleep, and giving your body a chance to recharge when it’s needed.

Winter sports like skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, snowmobiling, and sledding offer fun and offer exhilirating opportunities to stay active during these colder months.

But winter sports combined with sometimes hazardous winter conditions can increase the risk of a traumatic head injury. Winter Sports Tramuatic Brain Injury Awareness Month during January reminds us to stay vigilant and take proper precautions to prevent these types of injuries while still enjoying winter activities.

In the event of a concussion or other TBI, PAM Health specialized brain injury programs helps patients maximize their physical and cognitive recoveries so they can get back to doing the things they love: https://nuvi.me/0p4oet

🎄✨️Community, connection, and Christmas Cheer✨️🎄
A huge thank you to our incredible Clinical Navigator, Gayle, who spent time visiting area assisted living and independent living communities to sponsor and decorate Christmas trees - alongside the residents themselves. Thank you to everyone who helped spread holiday cheer and made this season a little brighter! 💙

After surviving a very serious motor vehicle accident, Steven spent 58 days with us at PAM Health in Fargo where he truly became part of our PAMily. We were so excited to see him walk out with his wife right before Christmas so he could enjoy the holidays at home with his family. We are really proud of his inspiring recovery! His success story is posted in the comments.
