✨️Today we'd like to highlight BreAnna during Occupational Therapist Month✨️
"Hi everyone! My name is BreAnna Sadek and I am a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, COTA/L. I graduated from NDSCS and have seven years of experience, 2 of those being in skilled nursing/long term care and the last 5 years in inpatient rehabilitation here at PAM. I have pursued continuing education to enhance my clinical skills including Bioness H200 and brain injury courses. I find most fulfillment in building meaningful connections with patients and supporting them as they regain independence, improve safety, and return to daily activities and hobbies that matter most to them. I look forward to celebrating progress both big and small. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my husband/family, being outside, and reading."
Thank you BreAnna for all that you do for our patients!💙

Meet Your OT: Nicole Knoll!
My Professional Passion:
For me, the best part of being an OT is the blend of creativity and trust. It is an honor to be invited into my patients' lives and to help them navigate the path toward their personal goals. Whether it’s a small step or a major milestone, seeing those achievements firsthand is incredibly rewarding.

My Specialties & Interests:
I am a Certified Lymphedema Therapist and a PORi Certified Oncology Rehabilitation Therapist. While I love all aspects of OT; my heart beats fastest for Stroke Rehab, Vision Rehab, and Lymphedema Management.

Life Outside the Clinic:
When I’m not brainstorming creative ways to help my patients, you can find me:
- Being the #1 Fan: Cheering (very) loudly at my children’s activities!
- Staying Active: Diving for a volleyball or traveling to new places.
- Connecting: Spending quality time with family and friends or volunteering at my church and in our community.
- Getting Competitive: I’m always down for a good card game or a marathon board game night!

It’s a privilege to work alongside such a dedicated team and to play a role in my patients' progress as they reclaim their health and independence!

According to the CDC, about 12% of Americans have a diabetes diagnosis, while 27.6% live with undiagnosed diabetes. What’s more – 115.2 million Americans live with prediabetes, which means they are at risk of developing diabetes.

Fortunately, there are lifestyle factors you can control to lower your risk of a diabetes diagnosis or manage symptoms if you currently live with it.

April is Defeat Diabetes Month, and PAM Health is here to help with therapy programs that can improve function and address complications related to diabetes, such as wounds and heart, vascular, kidney, and nerve issues. Learn more: https://nuvi.me/oogi8z

PAM Health patients recovering from serious illness or injury often benefit from tailored therapy that restores their ability to do activities of daily living (ADLs) independently. This is where our expert occupational therapy teams come in, helping equip patients with the skills and tools to live their most fulfilled, independent lives, whether through daily hygiene and care tasks or activities for work and recreation. National Occupational Therapy Month is the perfect time to emphasize how vital occupational therapy is to our patients’ recovery and helping them return to doing the activities that matter most to them.

✨️Today we'd like to highlight Abby during National Occupational Therapy month! ✨️
Abby is an Occupational Therapist with eight years of experience across a variety of clinical settings. She values the close-knit community at PAM Health, along with the support of her coworkers and the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population. She is dedicated to helping individuals maximize their quality of life while improving function, safety, and independence. She also has a strong interest in mental health and strives to incorporate a holistic, mind-body approach into her care whenever possible. In her free time, Abby enjoys pilates classes, going on walks outside, reading thriller books, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Thank you, Abby, for all that you do!
