Do you ever notice that you, your child, or someone you know startles easily, struggles with big emotions, or seems on edge?

One possible reason could be the MORO reflex. The MORO reflex is a primitive reflex (automatic movement that you are born with) that is supposed to go away as children grow and get older.

In OT we use intentional movement activities, like the one in today’s video, to support reflex integration and help individuals feel more calm regulated, and support their nervous system.
