• Hi, I’m Cassidy! I am in my first year of practice as an Occupational Therapist and I will be at the Grand Forks location. I earned my Doctorate of Occupational Therapy from the University of North Dakota after completing my Bachelor of Science degree at Colorado State University.

I have always loved working with children, which is what drove me to pediatric therapy. I enjoy building a meaningful connection with the children that I work with. I strive to make sessions not only fun but also motivating by meeting the child where they are at with their skills to create the just right challenge.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Matt, and our chocolate lab, Ziggy. I also love going to the lake, attending country concerts, traveling, and spending time with my nieces and nephews.

Big shoutout to our OT, Carlie!
Yesterday, she visited the UND Occupational Therapy department to share her expertise in MNRI and spark meaningful conversations with future OTs. 🌟🙌

MNRI (Masgutova Neurosensorimotor Reflex Integration) is a sensory and movement-based program focused on integrating primitive reflexes that may be interfering with function. The program uses exercises, stretches, and deep pressure techniques to promote gains in a wide range of areas, including motor development, cognition, emotional regulation, and sensory processing.

Carlie has been practicing MNRI since 2019. She has over 100 hours of coursework in MNRI, including training in Dynamic and Postural Reflexes, Neurotactile Integration, Lifelong Reflexes, and Oral Facial Reflex Integration. Carlie is a Level 1 Core in Training, one of 2 therapists in the state of North Dakota who are a part of the core training program. She has helped many children make gains in the areas of postural control, feeding, vision, fine motor skills, emotional regulation, and sensory processing using MNRI techniques. She is excited to continue building her skills in MNRI to help children of all ages and backgrounds meet their full potential.

We’re grateful for her leadership, enthusiasm, and commitment to making a difference! 💙

Hi everyone! My name is Cora Badding and I am the part-time Office Specialist here at the Grand Forks location! I’m originally from Langdon, ND, and I’m currently a junior at the University of North Dakota, where I’m studying Speech-Language Pathology.

I chose to study Speech-Language Pathology because I love the idea of being able to understand the science of speech and language, and using that to help people express themselves how they want to.

A few of my favorite things include reading a good book, going on walks, and spending time with friends and family.

I am so excited to be a part of the Interact Therapy team and look most forward to being around all of the great people and learning more about pediatric therapy.

If you’d like to contribute, please bring non-perishable food items to our donation bin located in the clinic. 🥫 Every item helps brighten the holidays for families in need! We will be accepting contributions until Dec 15th.

The clocks have fallen back, and that extra hour tends to throw off our little ones’ routines ⏰🍂
Here are a few simple ways to help your kiddo adjust:

✨ Keep bedtime and wake-up times consistent
☀️ Get morning sunlight to reset their body clock
🧸 Add extra calm time before bed
💪 Include movement and sensory play during the day
🍽️ Try to keep meals and snacks on a regular schedule
💛 Validate their feelings and offer extra patience as their body adjusts

With steady routines and a bit of extra comfort, your child can feel balanced, well-rested, and ready to take on the rest of the week! ✨
