The Fargo VA would like to extend a special “Thank You” to the Disabled American Veterans, Department of North Dakota for their incredible donation of a brand new 2025 Ford Explorer 4X4 worth over $42,000 to be used in the Volunteer Transportation Network (VTN) out of Bismarck, ND.

The VTN program is a partnership between the DAV and VA which provides free, safe, and reliable transportation to rural Veterans attending VA-approved appointments in the following areas:
*Minot, ND *Bismarck, ND, *Cavalier, ND, *Wahpeton, ND, *Lisbon, ND
*Thief River Falls, MN, *Bemidji, MN, *Park Rapids, MN, *Crookston, MN, *Wheaton, MN
In FY25 alone, 820 Veterans were brought to and from appointments traveling almost 110,000 miles across our area. To accommodate Veterans in need, we are always seeking new dedicated drivers. Volunteering just twice a month ensures that an average of thirty Veterans gain access to life-saving care.
To learn more about becoming a driver, visit the DAV at WWW.DAV.ORG, or contact the Center for Development & Civic Engagement at 701-239-3700 ext. 3396.
