Don't stash those sunglasses just because it's cold! Winter can be brutal on your eyes:

1. Snow UV Reflection: Fresh snow reflects up to 80% of UV rays straight into your eyes. This can cause "sunburn of the eye" (photokeratitis). Always wear UV-blocking shades!
2. Dry Eye Spike: Indoor heat and cold outdoor air strip moisture, causing dry, itchy eyes. Keep a bottle of lubricating eye drops handy!
