We were thrilled to get a review from one of the youth previously in our care at Luther Hall, our residential treatment program located in Fargo. They said, "I was there last year, had some tough stuff happen but through all that pain and the struggle of trying to pick myself up, I found people there who helped me up and dusted me off. Those people were the staff... Now I'm experiencing the life they told me I could have."

Luther Hall offers a therapeutic setting for youth ages 10-17 who present risk to themselves and others due to significant issues impacting their everyday lives, resulting in the need for out-of-home placement for treatment. We provide individualized and comprehensive services by specially trained, dedicated staff in a carefully structured environment. Youth receive treatment for issues such as mental health challenges, substance use, or because of a history that demonstrates the child’s need for a higher level of care.

All residents participate in individual and group therapy, as well as family therapy, which can be done in person or via secure video conferencing avenues for families unable to be physically present. On-site educational instruction is provided by licensed schoolteachers from LearnWell. Luther Hall accepts placement of children from all states; however, most are from North Dakota and Minnesota. We were so excited to get a donation of all sorts of snacks for the clients in our care. The Indian Motorcycle Club of the Red River and our very own Heidi Hansen have been instrumental in collecting these donations so that we can continue to restore hope and reshape futures for those in our community!
