Yesterday, this amazing bunch of kids had a lemonade stand to buy board games for our families to use. Research shows that even a few minutes of connecting as a family without technology significantly improves the mental health of everyone involved.

Life’s been such a roller coaster this summer! 🎢 The death of my dog, Barkley, the arrival of my puppy, Pixel (you can see her at if you missed her debut!), the promotion of my new book, The Story of You, which comes out in less than two months… It’s been a lot. 😮‍💨 But I’m doing my best to just enjoy the ride!
