September 11, 2001 – Never Forgotten

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the heroes who ran toward danger to save others. It's been 24 years, but the pain, the bravery, and the unity of that day still echo in our hearts.

To the first responders, the victims, the survivors, and every person impacted by 9/11 — we honor your courage, your sacrifice, and your resilience.

May we never forget. 🕊️

Our residents at The Legacy Assisted Living had a blast preparing and baking delicious sweet lemon squares during our latest cooking class! 👩‍🍳✨

After all the hard work in the kitchen, everyone enjoyed their tasty treats paired perfectly with refreshing mocktails. 🍹💛

It’s wonderful to see how much our residents are enjoying these cooking classes — learning, creating, and savoring every moment together!

🎶💃 Spinning Into the Past with Vinyl! 🕺🎶

At The Legacy Assisted Living, we always love a good song and a little dancing — but hearing music on vinyl took the experience to a whole new level! 🎵✨

There’s just something special about the crackle of a record player and the rich sound of classic tunes that brings back so many memories. Our residents were smiling, tapping their feet, and even hitting the dance floor!

Safe to say… we’ll be dusting off those vinyl records more often! 🎶❤️

☕ Vet to Vet Café Visit 🇺🇸☕

We had the honor of taking our Legacy veterans to the Vet to Vet Café at the Warren SCOPE Center. It was a meaningful morning filled with conversation, camaraderie, and shared stories with fellow local veterans. 💬🎖️

One of the veterans we met is even planning to visit our facility soon — a connection we’re truly grateful for. 💛

The Vet to Vet Café is held the second Thursday of each month, and we look forward to attending again and continuing to build these important bonds.

Thank you to the Warren SCOPE Center for hosting such a special event for those who have served. 🇺🇸

🚜🌞 Tractor Time in Vienna! 🌾👋

Residents from The Legacy Assisted Living had a blast at the Antique Tractor Show in Vienna! From admiring the vintage tractors to enjoying a scenic ride on the tractor trailer, it was a day full of smiles and sunshine. 🌟

We loved waving hello to everyone—and some of our residents even reconnected with old friends along the way! 💛

A big thank you to the Antique Tractor Club for the invitation and for giving us such a fun ride around the showgrounds. It’s a day we won’t soon forget! 🚜🎉

The Legacy Assisted Living was proud to be part of Johnston Community Day, where we were giving away free bookbags filled with school supplies and first aid kits to help families get ready for the new school year! 📚🩹

🎉 Fun, Food & Games with Dana from Patriot! 🎶🍰

We had an amazing afternoon at The Legacy Assisted Living, thanks to Dana from Patriot! She brought in a delicious lunch and topped it off with sweet treats from Nothing Bundt Cakes — a definite crowd favorite! 🍽️🎂

Our residents enjoyed great music, showed off their dance moves, and even tested their aim with a bean bag toss — laughter and smiles all around! 💃🎯🕺

Thank you, Dana and Patriot, for your generosity, energy, and for making our day so special. We truly had a blast!
