Children from Christ the King Knanaya church joined us for activities. They were painting and working on a jigsaw puzzle. One of our couples shared with the children, how they met and are now celebrating over 60 years of marriage. The residents can't wait for the next visit. This is just a few of the paintings that were done by the children and our residents.

Here are our newest plants! Thanks to Gypsy's daughter for donating them. We have a new geranium, wizards coral sunrise, hypoestes in 2 colors and sweet banana peppers. We already have basil coming up from last year, and Verolyn planted okra by seeds already. Our little garden is going to get bigger with all the rain we have been getting. Can't wait for fresh vegetables. What are you putting in your garden?

Our lunch bunch group tried a new restaurant this week. Nuevo Leon is a small location close to the community. They have wonderful Mexican food. Pictured are the flautas platter and the taco platter. The cheese enchiladas, covered in white queso sauce, looked so inviting. And the quesadilla de fajita was so large, she had leftovers for supper too. We will be back to try more dishes. Do you have a favorite restaurant?

Today the staff at our community celebrated with a 100% occupancy. A cookout with Brazilian steak, sausages, black beans and rice pilaf was cooked and served. We had drinks and cake too! District managers were there to help us celebrate and congratulated the team on a great job. It really takes everyone, from Sales & Marketing Kristi and Executive Director Wendy to the care partners, Medication Techs, Health & Wellness Joe, housekeeping, maintenance Tony, Rosa and her staff, concierge staff and Engagement Coordinator. Thank you to everyone for your help in achieving this goal. And thank you to our wonderful residents and families, for supporting us every day. We love you all!
