Woven Health Clinic is a 501(c)(3) community healthcare clinic that helps uninsured and under-insured adults build healthier, happier, and more productive lives. Patients have access to a primary care doctor, clinical nutritionist, behavior specialist, licensed social worker, and a psychologist via teletherapy. 🧠 Mental Wellness Matters More Than Ever

In 2025, mental health continues to be a critical public health concern, affecting millions across all age groups and backgrounds. The numbers speak volumes:

22.8% of U.S. adults (over 57 million people) live with some form of mental illness.
5.5% of adults suffer from serious mental illness that disrupts daily life.
Among high school students, a staggering 40% report feeling persistently sad or hopeless, and 20% have seriously considered su***de.
LGBTQ+ adults face disproportionately high rates, with 50.2% experiencing mental illness—more than double the national average.

Why This Matters: Mental wellness isn’t just about avoiding illness—it’s about thriving. It affects how we think, feel, connect, and function. And with rising awareness, the future is hopeful:

🍑 Sunday Spotlight: Summer Peach & Corn Salad 🌽
It’s peak produce season in North Texas—and your taste buds are in for a treat!
August brings a rainbow of fresh flavors, and this salad is bursting with the best of what’s ripe, juicy, and ready to shine.

🥗 Ingredients:
2 perfectly ripe Texas peaches, sliced (sweet, juicy, and sunshine in every bite!)
1 cup sweet corn kernels (fresh off the cob or grilled for extra flavor)
1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved (little bursts of summer!)
1 crisp cucumber, diced
¼ cup red onion, thinly sliced
A handful of fresh basil leaves, torn (fragrant and full of flair)
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
Salt & pepper to taste
Optional: crumbled feta or goat cheese for a creamy kick

🥄 Directions:
In a large bowl, combine peaches, corn, tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion.
Drizzle with olive oil and vinegar or lemon juice.
Toss gently to combine.
Season with salt and pepper, then top with fresh basil (and cheese if using).
Chill for 10–15 minutes before serving for best flavor.

💡 Why it’s great:
Peaches are packed with vitamins A & C and taste like summer.
Corn brings fiber and antioxidants to the party.
Tomatoes & cucumbers hydrate and refresh.
Basil adds a fragrant, anti-inflammatory boost.
