As a Christian therapist, I've learned the hard way. I thought I was supposed to fix everyone, but that's not true. It's those He sends and those who want help. You may be going through life doing things out of pressure, trying to meet expectations that God never placed on you. At times, people may use control or manipulation to get their way, and if you're not careful, you can begin to carry a false sense of responsibility. That weight was never assigned to you. You are not called to fix everyone or fulfill every demand.

Don't worry. Be happy. Worry is essentially meditation on fearful thoughts. It is rehearsing worst-case scenarios over and over in your mind. But biblical meditation is different; it is choosing to dwell on God's unshakable promises instead of your unstable fears. Isaiah 26:3 says, "You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You."

Swap the subject of your worry with the truth of God's Word. Let His promises speak louder than your anxiety. Simply open your heart and say, "God, let it happen." I pray that God calms every storm raging in your life right now and floods your heart with supernatural peace, in the mighty name of Jesus. Have a peaceful and pressure-free Thursday in Christ.
