Fecci, has been selling fire extinguishers and other fire protection equipment to area businesses and homeowners since 1937. Jersey Coast Fire is one of the only businesses in Monmouth and Ocean Counties that concentrate on selling fire protection equipment. The Fecci's came into business almost by accident. In the 1970's, Albert J. Fecci had an opportunity to buy a fire protection equipment outfit, Mohawk Fire Equipment in Staten Island. Al bought part ownership in 1979, and brought in his son, Albert D. Fecci to manage the business. Albert J then brought in his daughter Alice to help with office work and payroll. The Fecci's, who lived in Rutherford, at the time, ran the business for five years, serving customers in the New York boroughs, Long Island and the northern New Jersey areas. With much success, they eventually made their way down the New Jersey coast. After a couple moves, they settled at their present location on 377 Asbury Road in Farmingdal, NJ and have been thriving ever since.
