🌟 Workshop Completed Successfully! 🌟

We are very happy to share that we have successfully completed our virtual workshop on Home-Based Support for Children with Global Developmental Delay (GDD)!

👏 Nearly 20 parents from different parts of Bangladesh joined the session — sharing their experiences, learning new strategies, and growing together as a strong, supportive community.

A heartfelt thanks to our senior expert, Ferdousi Rahman Ma’am, for leading the session with such care, insight, and expertise. 💙

On 14th July 2025, UHCD participated in a collaborative meeting organized by Synergoes to explore potential partnership opportunities for Phase 2 of the Integrated Community Based Center for Child Care, Protection and Swimsafe Facilities (ICBC) Project. The project is implemented by Bangladesh Shishu Academy under the guidance of the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs (MoWCA).

Shermin Abedin, our Program Development Manager, represented UHCD and shared valuable insights on how UHCD can play a key role in ensuring safer, more inclusive, and community-driven services for children.

We are excited about the potential to work together in strengthening child protection and holistic development efforts throughout Bangladesh.

🌟 A Journey of Hope and Progress 🌟

She is only 6 years old and has been living with Cerebral Palsy and multiple disabilities. When we first met her last year, she couldn’t move much or even sit without support.

But today, she tells a different story.

With regular therapy and care, she can now hold small objects, move on her own, and even play like any other child. 💪✨

Every small step is a big victory — and her smile says it all. 💛
