On Sunday, April 26, Good Shepherd Hospice proudly hosted its 25th Anniversary Brunch at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury. The event brought together supporters, healthcare professionals, and community members for a meaningful afternoon of connection, reflection, and celebration as we honored 25 years of compassionate care in our community.
We extend our sincere gratitude to Robert Fabio for sharing his deeply personal journey and heartfelt perspective on the care provided by Good Shepherd Hospice. His story served as a powerful reminder of the importance and impact of our mission.
We were also honored to present the 2026 Good Shepherd Hospice Service Award, given in loving memory of Kathleen Fabio, to Randy Sandler, RN. Her unwavering compassion and dedication truly embody the spirit of hospice care.
We are deeply thankful to our generous sponsors and to everyone who contributed to making this event so memorable. Your support is the foundation of our mission and enables us to continue providing exceptional care.
Proceeds from the brunch benefit Good Shepherd Hospice’s Bereavement Program. Attendees included Bishop John Barres, our founders, the Congregation of the Infant Jesus Nursing Sisters of the Sick Poor, Inc., members of the Good Shepherd Hospice Foundation Board, along with staff and community members who share a profound commitment to hospice and palliative care.
