So much to report…I went on vacation for a week and they were so busy!

The weather pulled a fast one on us at last week’s concert, but Sheila Landis and Ricky Matle brought the summer vibes indoors with their vocals, guitar, and fun percussion instruments. Even inside, the party went strong thanks to Good Humor ice cream treats courtesy of Pleasantry Home Care.

🐸🥚🐝 Tadpoles, Snapping Turtle Eggs, and Bees…oh my!

Residents explored the protected natural area between Rose and Mercy High School with Ian - an ecologist from the Six Rivers Conservancy, which guards the area’s protected status. Together they identified plants and animals, and even helped re-bury exposed snapping turtle eggs. Along the way they also saw a wild blue flag iris - just like the painting you see by the West Wing Courtyard!

Every day at Rose is a new adventure!
