A member of our community, Judge Michael Stacey, of blessed memory, dedicated a portion of his estate to promote the cause of hospice care. In 2017, JHCN launched the Judge Michael L. Stacey Trust Hospice Heroes recognition program. Each month, JHCN honors an exceptional hospice caregiver who serves the Jewish community for their outstanding work and dedication. Annually, we honor those Hospice Heroes with a keepsake photo, an honorarium, and recognition during our annual Henrietta and Alvin Weisberg Caring Coalition Conference. This Spring, we were grateful to congratulate Hospice Heroes from 2021 through the beginning of 2022 at our return to an in-person Conference.
