“Wings of the Ancestors”

She carries the weight of the sun on her shoulders,
the glow of the moon on her back
her wings, vast as the prairie sky,
painted with the songs of those who came before.

Each feather hums with memory,
each color whispers a name
the echo of drums,
the prayer of rivers,
the breath of buffalo across open plains.

She walks not alone,
but with the spirits who carved stories into the wind.
They rise with her heartbeat,
they rest in the curve of her shadow.

She is the daughter of fire and dust,
the keeper of languages unspoken yet alive.
And when she spreads her wings,
the earth remembers
and the people live again.

“She Walks With the Ancestors”

She walks where the earth remembers
every footstep ever taken,
where gold grasses bow in quiet prayer
and the wind speaks in forgotten names.

Her cloak carries the language of wings—
patterns born of sky and silence,
woven with stories no mouth can hold,
only the heart dares to feel.

The moon watches gently,
an old witness floating in stillness,
while time loosens its grip
and becomes breath again.

She does not look back.
Not because she forgets—
but because the past walks beside her,
woven into her shadow,
singing through her bones.

Each step awakens the land.
Each pause becomes a prayer.
The earth recognizes her
as one of its own remembering.

She walks for those who came before,
for those not yet born,
for the quiet voices
that live between heartbeat and dream.

And if you listen—
truly listen—
you may feel the ground soften beneath you,
as if the world itself is whispering:

You are not lost.
You are becoming.
You have always belonged.

Recent research suggests that psilocybin may physically repair brain connections damaged by chronic depression. In the prefrontal cortex, depression can cause neurons to wither and lose their ability to communicate. This study indicates that the active compound in magic mushrooms can actually reverse this structural decline.

The compound triggers the rapid regrowth of dendritic spines, the essential bridges that allow brain cells to link together. This biological rewiring creates new neural pathways and can happen much faster than traditional treatments. These structural changes have been shown to persist for months after the initial intervention.

By restoring these severed links, the brain can break free from rigid, negative thought loops. This discovery provides a powerful explanation for why psychedelic therapy can be effective where other antidepressants fail. It offers a new perspective on the brain's ability to heal and reorganize itself.

SHARING: THIS THURSDAY, SEPT 18
Please join us for our next FREE monthly Webinar, this time led by Barry Krost: “Better me than you”: Unraveling the dynamics of unhealthy belonging."
Thursday, September 18, 6:30 - 8:00 Central Daylight time. Email nasconstellations@gmail.com to register. Link will be sent on the day of the seminar.
Description:
When children are not safe and do not reach their mothers’ care, they can unconsciously develop a need to sacrifice themselves to ensure their belonging. This leads them to form blind loyalties to their parents and ancestors who are excluded. As a result, these individuals atone for past actions, hold pain for others, or take on another's fate, unconsciously thinking, “Better me than you.” This lifelong pattern of heroic sacrifice can lead to despair, isolation, and rage. They may become caretakers to family, friends, and co-workers, but they can also feel burdened, resentful, and unseen. Despite their efforts, they are unable to let go of their blind loyalties or feel a sense of belonging or safety. In this webinar we will talk about this hidden family dynamic and have a brief experience that helps us understand it more fully.
Barry Krost is a Family Constellations Facilitator and Trainer with over 42 years’ experience as a Bodywork and Energy Healing Practitioner. He begin his journey with Family Constellations in 2003. He offers Family Constellations workshops, trainings, professional certification and private sessions internationally both online and in person. He also holds degrees in Anthropology and History.

"It is now clear to me that the family is a microcosm of the world. To understand the world, we can study the family: issues such as power, intimacy, autonomy, trust, and communication skills are vital parts underlying how we live in the world. To change the world is to change the family."
